FPF and Sagres renew partnership
The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) and Sagres signed a sponsorship renewal contract with the National Men and Women’s Football Teams A and under-21.
This enormously successful and long-time partnership, next year celebrating 30 years of the oldest Men’s Team A sponsorship – is now extended until 2028, with Sagres beer renewing its support to everyone’s football teams.
Attending the ceremony held at the City of Football, the national teams’ headquarters and representing Sagres, were SCC Group’s CEO, Boris Miloushev, its Chairman, Nuno Pinto Magalhães and Maria Oliveira, Marketing Director. FPF was represented by President Fernando Gomes, Vice President Humberto Coelho, directors Mónica Jorge, João Vieira Pinto and Pauleta, CEO Luís Sobral and National Team Coach Fernando Santos.
It is with an enormous ambition that this new stage soon begins, in October, in what could be a historic qualification of the Women's National Team A for the 2023 World Cup, in addition to the participation of the men's National Team in the Qatar World Cup 2022 in November and December.
Sagres beer’s consistent support to Portuguese football has meant that it was able to be always close to FPF and the National Team, following its evolution, living the emotions of football intensely and celebrating many achievements.
Sagres beer is the Portuguese brand with the strongest association with football, a connection which started more than 30 years ago, with the sponsorship of the National Team since 1993.
