Sociedade Central de Cervejas was the first Portuguese brewer to be awarded the ISO 9001 Quality Certification in 1996.

Sociedade Água de Luso was awarded the Quality Certification of the Luso and Cruzeiro plants in 1995 and 1997, respectively.

In 2000, Água de Luso was granted the license to Use the Certified Product Brand, making Água de Luso the only certified Water brand in the world at the time.

In April 2008, the Vialonga Brewery obtained certification of its Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001.

In July 2011, Sociedade Central de Cervejas and Sociedade Água de Luso obtained certification of their Food Safety Management Systems, in accordance with the ISO 22000 standard.

In December 2014, the Vialonga Brewery obtained certification of its Health and Safety at Work Management System, in accordance with OHSAS 18001 / NP 4397 standard.

In 2016, Sociedade Central de Cervejas and Sociedade Água de Luso obtained certification of their Food Safety Management Systems, according to the FSSC 22000 certification scheme.

In December 2018, Sociedade Água de Luso obtained certification of its Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001.

In 2020 Sociedade Central de Cervejas completed migration of its Health and Safety at Work Management System, from OHSAS 18001 / NP 4397 to ISO 45001 standard.

In 2021, implementation of the company’s Management Systems continued and extended to the Vacariça website, the company’s headquarters remaining at the Vialonga brewery.
